DINING & HOUSING

CAMPUS HOUSING

Paul Smith’s College dormitories feature private bedrooms furnished with writing desks and wardrobes in apartment-style pods. Four writers will be assigned to each pod, and all apartments are equipped with a shared kitchen, living space, and two full bathrooms. WiFi, parking, and laundry facilities are all included in the cost of housing and available onsite. Barrier-free housing, as well as housing options for couples or families, is available upon request; please contact Kettle Pond staff with any questions following your formal application to the conference. Campus housing is included in tuition. Applicants who plan to commute or prefer to arrange their own off-campus housing are welcome to do so. See our tuition page for pricing. More info can be found in our FAQ.

CAMPUS DINING

Kettle Pond provides meals for all our writers during conference as part conference tuition. Please let us know if you have any food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions. Paul Smith's beautiful, lakeside dining hall (view pictured above – yes, really) can accommodate almost anything other than Kosher (which may also be possible – contact our staff for current information). Campus housing includes shared kitchens featuring refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and microwaves, but these apartments do not come stocked with dishes, utensils, or other basic cooking equipment or implements. Writers interested in preparing food outside of mealtimes should plan, independently or in coordination with the other writers in their pods, to bring their own tools. More info about life at Kettle Pond can be found in our FAQ.
